Purpose of this building block

Connect your Google Form to Ultradox. When triggering Ultradox from a Google Form you will be able to access all the entered data and to merge it into your emails, documents etc.

Possible use cases

  • Receive user input via Google Forms and use it in any other Google document
  • Send customer specific emails (and attached content) based on a forms input

Configuration

Click on the bold text in the title of the building block to open the configuration dialog.

 Edit

 

Click on the edit icon to edit the Google Form in a new browser tab or window.

 Reload

 

Click on the reload icon to scan the Google Form for modified, added or removed fields.

 Preview

 

Use the preview icon to jump right to the live form.

When adding this building block to your flow all variables will become available in the Ultradox Template Editor as well.

This building block allows you to configure default values for the defined form fields. You can thereby run and test your flow right from the Ultradox editor without filling out the the Google Form. This will make testing a lot faster and easier.

Make sure to save your data so that the entered values appear as Ultradox variables in the output parameter section of the building block.

Using a Google form you can easily capture any data. Either receive an online form via email or from a homepage or have have a terminal ready for visitors of an exhibition or your logistics personnel to enter and print/store something right away.

In this short example a visitors first name, last name and company is registered using a Google Form. Based on a template you designed a Badge in PDF format is created which can easily be printed out right for the visitor to pick up.

Get directions

Having a user entering a from and to location in a Google from you can use the Get directions building block to compile the route between the two points.

With the Generate html building block you can create a html file which processes the directions and fills them into a template to visualize the route. The html directions can then be send to the requesting user.
